Our Aims
The oral tradition of storytelling is the best communication available - it is face to face. It offers a key to a deep appreciation of what it means to be human.
Our aim is to encourage the art of oral storytelling in general and in particular to revive the lost art of oral biblical storytelling.
We do this against a backdrop of music, art, and poetry, in an atmosphere of respect, conviviality, and community. The ethos of sharing and hospitality is at the heart of what we do.
What we do
We offer training, workshops, and performances in storytelling. We work with all age groups and in many genres; Bible stories, fairy stories, myths, legends or personal storytelling.
We have worked in schools, prisons, community centres, churches, pubs, small theatres, campsites, festivals and successfully ran a storytelling cafe over a four year period.
