The CREDO Storytellers
Are a collective of professional actors, storytellers and musicians who specialise in putting on epic stories especially text tellings from the Bible. Please book well in advance to allow for rehearsal and preparation.

CREDO workers
The Creative Director of CREDO is Shan Stephens. She is both a film maker and a storyteller with a degree in Anthropology and Communications. Shan is a founder member of The CREDO Storytelling Trust.

The organisation is run on goodwill and voluntary labour so sometimes our resources are stretched so please be patient if you do not hear from us immediately. Many thanks.
We are looking for volunteers to adminstrate the web, design leaflets, fundraise and help with events. Please contact us.

Italy

Paola Balbi an actress from Italy, came to the Cafè Credo events in 2002 in London. It was her first real experience of oral storytelling and she fell in love with it.

Shan Stephens, creative director of Credo then worked on a bi lingual project with Paula in 2003, using Shakespearean monologues and storytelling. It toured in London, Rome, Ferrara, Genoa,Turin and Edinburgh festival 2004, winning two international prizes.

USA
Billy and Marsha Engle ran STORYROUND very successfully in Wales for 4 years. They have now moved to Florida and will be starting up a group there. Contact Credo for further details.

Russia
Susan Walters is a director of the Credo Trust has travelled regularly to Russia to run workshops on storytelling. Contact Credo for further details
